- TOPIC ----------------------------------------------------------
-
- Is there a correlation between a monitor's DPI resolution and ELF
- emissions?
-
- DISCUSSION -------------------------------------------------------
-
- The refresh rate (the number of times a video image is refreshed on the
- screen) determines the frequency at which ELF is emitted, but the refresh
- rate does not increase the amplitude or levels of ELF emitted from the
- monitor. Crisp color graphics require a wider video bandwidth than
- text-based systems, so there is the possibility of increased VLF and high
- frequency emissions, but the ELF spectrum remains unchanged.
